New York Jets Sign ‘Pro Bowl-Caliber’ Mason Taylor To Rookie Contract

New York Jets Sign ‘Pro Bowl-Caliber’ Mason Taylor to Rookie Contract originally appeared on Athlon Sports.

The New York Jets have some promising talent on offense. With Justin Fields, Garrett Wilson, and Breece Hall, they've got key playmakers who have each shown glimpses of what they could deliver in 2025.

Here's an argument that says they can do even more than some expect if there is a fourth member of the offense who jumps up in a major way.

Enter tight end Mason Taylor, who was drafted in the second round and is expected to develop into one of Fields' trusted targets.

The process took another step on Friday as the Jets have finally agreed to terms with their second-round tight end. The 42nd overall pick is the last member of New York’s 2025 draft class to sign his rookie contract, a four-year deal worth $10.46 million, of which $9.56 million (91.3 percent) is expected to be fully guaranteed.
